The living scenes of the Revolution must inevitably fade from the memory of the world unless we deliberately choose to keep them alive.
Through candid, unposed street photography, I'm capturing the living spirit of 1775 as it's carried today by ordinary Americans who step into the roles of minutemen, militia, and regulars for the Semiquincentennial. My aim is simple: to reveal the human continuity between past sacrifice and present passion — one decisive moment at a time.
This year has run from Lexington’s dawn muster in April to Lake Champlain in October — Gloucester, Brooklyn, Ticonderoga, Valcour Island, Pomfret, Connecticut, and a bright fall morning at Pell’s Point in the Bronx.
