“Lest we forget… the scenes of the revolution must fade upon the memory of the world unless we choose to remember them.” — Joseph J. Ellis
Documenting the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution
Through candid, unposed street photography style I am capturing the living, breathing spirit of 1775 as embodied by ordinary 21st-century Americans — who voluntarily step into the roles of minutemen, militia, and regulars during the Semiquincentennial.
My Intent is to: create a cohesive body of work that reveals the human continuity between past sacrifice and present passion — the pre-dawn tension, quiet camaraderie, visible fatigue, subtle modern intrusions, and the deep personal dedication that still carries 1776’s ideals of liberty, community, and defiance.
Current Coverage: Lexington Patriots’ Day – April 18 | Battle of Pines Bridge - May 2 - Blog posts & galleries are linked above.
Upcoming Events in 2026 - Capture of Johnson Hall 5/16 | Wethersfield 250 5/23 | Putnam County Heroes 6/6 , Fort Ticonderoga (4th of July), Trenton & Princeton (December), and much more in between.
