5th Connecticut Regiment — Winter Encampment & Winter Walk

Fri–Sat, Dec 4–5, 2026 · Putnam Park, Redding, CT

Washington's Continental Army wintered at Redding in 1778–79 ("Connecticut's Valley Forge"). The 5th CT's encampment recreates winter-quarters life — huts, cooking, drill in cold-weather conditions.
